This project will be a digital audio synthesizer built on an FPGA. It will be able to modulate pitch, amplitude, low and high pass filters, and a distortion effect through the use of knobs and with the help of an OLED display. It is intended to be used with a MIDI keyboard and external speakers to provide a low cost solution to high end digital synthesis. The range of possibilities for modulation is designed to rival software, but with the quality, portability, and price of hardware.
