Shirley’s Status Report: Week 7

Progress

1. Finished polishing design review documents, add references to corresponding parts
2. Set up AWS EC2 GPU instance for training purposes, configuring environment and pre-trained model
3. Decided to start working on TV from 220 lab, starting to collect data for later labeling
4. Tested LIRC database for 220 TV

Schedule

1. Finish setting up GPU server for training issue, start working on software pipeline
2. Keep collecting and labeling data for testing purposes

Deliverables Next Week

1. Basic structure of a openCV object detection pipeline as a whole, including image resizing and normalization
2. Construct GPU server part separately
