(12/4) Weekly Status Update: Jeffrey

This week we worked on building our final product from our MVP. I traveled back to home (Florida) from Pittsburgh, but I was able to access the Raspberry Pi remotely to work on the integration. I was in charge of getting our location detection working. I was able to detect whether someone holding the wearable device was within a predefined region to a pretty decent accuracy. I also combined that location data with the data we were getting from the camera to determine how much mess a person made if they went by the area. We were able to test this functionality when a person wearing the wearable would enter the predefined region to place an object, the object would then be associated with the wearable device that the person was holding. I helped manage the server, while David was moving around to help me gather data about how successful our detection system is.
