This week I focused mainly on working on our proposal presentation and getting the website set up (see the proposal slides page for more details on the slides). I also worked on adding tasks to our Gantt chart schedule (shown in the presentation). For the presentation, I did a lot of the work getting the organization of slides set up, and adding content to many of the slides. For the website, I changed the layout, added the title, set up all the pages, and added the Introduction content. I also got the overall posts section set up with the 4 categories required. As for our schedule, I added in some tasks, mainly dealing with what I will focus on which is integration of the software to the hardware, with what I anticipate the times will take.
We are not behind schedule yet as we have just started and just started our schedule.
In the next week, I hope to finalize our design plans, and get started on ordering the parts we will need (specifically our CPU and motors), so that we can begin following our schedule. I also want to start creating a database for ingredients and do research into the required cook times.
