During this week, like many teams, we dealt with the heavy consequences of CMU’s closure due to COVID-19. For me, this meant figuring out how to re-scope my portion of the project (writing Kalman filters for the IMUs placed on the user’s arm). Although our team decided to keep the arm part of our project design largely the same, we deemed it best that we all switch onto working on the Kalman filter full-time. Thus, I began the process of sharing all of my work on our filter with our teammates. We held several Zoom sessions where I shared resources that I found on the Kalman filter and Luca shared several helpful videos that he found on his own.

I created a shared GitHub repo with my teammates and we resolved to have a working Kalman filter for finding the ball’s exit velocity by early next week.
