That’s So Fetch is an ECE Capstone project dedicated to replacing the irreplaceable bod between man and dog. We wish to construct a pet dog simulator that anticipates the throw of a user’s ball and returns the ball to the user upon retrieval. Specifically, we aim to do this through a motion tracking system along the user’s arm that feeds information to a motorized vehicle that represents the metaphorical dog.

The key challenges in which we wish to innovate are the ability to determine anticipated position from the user’s throw and to accurately place our motorized vehicle in that location with proper timing.
