This week, I began writing a testbench for familiarizing myself with the BLE software interface in Arduino/ESP-IDF. It took some trial and error until I found a sample code that was able to effectively utilize the BLE hardware in the first place.
My main responsibilities include hardware design and testing, and I am a bit behind because the PCBs didn’t arrive last week. To catch up this week, I am going to continue working on the BLE firmware while I wait for the boards to arrive (should be Tuesday), and then test the boards when they get here.
Next week, I need to have an updated schematic done, and the week after that, the final board design and layout.
