Food Tracker

Imagine you’re grocery shopping, and you forgot to make a list of things to buy. Or, perhaps you can’t remember if you have a specific ingredient for that one recipe. Our project is a smart kitchen appliance which records the user’s current inventory of grocery items. Inside of each of the user’s storage locations, there will be a camera, feeding the images to an embedded computer vision device. This device then determines the number/type of groceries found in each storage location, without any input needed from the user. The user can view their current inventory at any time through a web application, ensuring that the user will always be able to access this information.
