Our team is building a no-snooze alarm clock that you have to catch to turn it off.
How does it work? Simply set an alarm through our website, and the alarm will start ringing at set time. Using computer vision and machine learning, the alarm recognizes human faces and runs away from the approaching user. While it is running, it navigates the landscape and avoids bumping into any objects in its way by accident. It only stops when it is “caught” by the user backing it into a wall.
Our goal is to make waking up easier for users. However, we can see the application of this alarm clock in other areas as well, such as assisting children in learning to walk and run.
