Judenique’s Status Report for 4/23

This week I was able to fully finish with the learn mode functionality and go through several scales to test it. I also finished my task of setting up an Apache server. However, I ran into a problem with the server that I don’t have a solution for yet. The server is not able to read local files, and the controller data is written on a local file. I have been doing research as to how to resolve this such as writing a shell script to repeatedly upload the data which might cause more latency. This is a problem I will continue researching for the next week. Our backup plan is to continue to run the system locally on the RPi. I did some debugging while working with the controller throughout the week since problems came up when everything was connected. I also met with my tea to construct our final slides. This upcoming week, I will continue to research the server problem to make our system more efficient, work on more integration, and finish with the test mode.
