Schedule

Per our Gantt Chart, this week I was supposed to set up the servo motors. However, I’m lagging a bit behind this week, partially due to the short week, but my other classes are also taking up much more time than expected.

Progress This Week

This week I was able to work more on the stepper motors. I wrote some python code for the servos but have not tested with the Raspberry Pi (will have to coordinate with Arka for this). I ordered the PCBs and am preparing to solder. I was able to swap out the Arduino and got the stepper motors up and running. I haven’t started working on the servos, but it should be relatively fast, as I have had some experience. I’ll be popping by TechSpark once I get back from Spring Break.

Next Week’s To-do

Next week, I’m looking to really catch up on everything. I will be coming back Friday, so I will have Saturday and Sunday to get the rest of these couple week’s progress rolling. Specifically, I will be doing the following:

1) Solder the PCBs
2) Get servos from TechSpark
3) Set up Arduino code/Python code for servo
4)  Test steppers with Raspberry Pi
