This week has been a week of progress. On Monday I and my team talked to the TAs and professors about the possibilities of turning our project into a research project as we do not have a concrete idea of how the videos would look like after the seam carving algorithm is applied. We also had a discussion of our first reading assignment.
On Tuesday we met with professor Low, briefly discussed our project idea and he advised us on our next steps. He still wants us to focus on designing, giving us some important guidelines on the upcoming design review.
On Wednesday we worked on requirements, qualitative and quantitative metrics, and technical specifications for our project. I set up our website.
On Thursday and Friday we worked on our slides for the design review, had a meeting with the TA to go over our slides, and established our more detailed division of labor.
For the next week, I’m looking to finish the design review slides, carry out the presentation, and implement minor adjustment to our design according to the feedback. Then, I will start researching on the board and start working a linux kernel on the board.
