In the week following Spring break I was responsible for hooking up the RFID reader and getting some preliminary results using the battery free sensing technologies. Using the Mercury API to read the state of the battery free sensor, I created software to monitor and log the state to a simple button switch from one of the Farsens sensors.
We are on progress to create our basic demo prototype. Currently, some of the major points of struggle has been working with the API as it’s documentaion leaves something to be desired. In the upcoming week, I will work in collaboration with David and Brian to hook in all parts of the project to connect the system together.
