Accomplishments this week
This week I continued reviewing the bench workflow’s alignment and plate-association behavior on additional views and difficult plate configurations. I focused on distinguishing plates attached to the working bar from nearby storage and associating a visible person with the correct bench. The improvement reported last week remains limited to the evaluated footage, so broader reliability still needs testing.
I also got the bench workflow running from a live camera feed on the Jetson after working through the dependencies and recorded-video tests. The workflow now processes frames as they arrive from the camera. I began examining processing time and memory usage, including the cost of the individual perception steps and the complete bench check.
For integration, I worked on passing bench observations into the shared station state and timer path. The observations need to retain their timestamps and uncertainty so that delayed or missing checks do not leave an outdated state on the display. Live bench inference is running, but the complete camera to tablet path has not yet been validated.
Schedule status
Moving to live camera input advances the hardware work planned last week. Bench reliability, full unattended-event testing, and shared integration remain unfinished, and we are still behind the earlier integration plan.
Next week I will focus on connecting the live bench check to the shared application and running it alongside the other workflows. I will also continue reviewing errors that affect the complete station state, especially person to bench association and plates on the working bar.
Deliverables for next week
• Connect live bench observations to the shared timers and tablet display.
• Run the bench workflow with the live rack and treadmill checks on the Jetson.
• Measure processing time, memory usage, and observation freshness under combined load.
• Review remaining failures on additional bench views.
• Test departure, return, and plate-removal sequences through the application.
