Introducing Aether
Aether is a product that projects holograms of items from the computer onto air, and allows data to be manipulated through gestures using the Kinect and a projector.

May 3, 2013Demo was a success. A lot of people came up to us and told us that they thought our idea was really cool.
May 2, 2013We have everything we need for the demo.
April 30, 2013We have removed the kinect and now we are using a mouse and raspberry pi to interact with the image.
February 26, 2013All of our parts haven't arrived yet.
February 19, 2013Website is nearly complete, and prototype is being built.
Motivation
We want to create a way to interact with a computer without having to use a keyboard and mouse. Gestures are much more natural to humans, and can also help people with disabilities interact with computers. People should be able control a computer just through the hologram.
