Nav-Assist is a solution to address the everyday navigational problems visually impaired people face.
Our project will be able to provide real-time object detection and object identification helping users maneuver past any obstacles within their vicinity.
Our design will integrate ultrasonic sensors and cameras to effectively detect any obstacles and identify them to the users through a user-friendly text-to-speech audio interface.
Our solution is unique because it strives for low latency while maintaining high accuracy with our object identification model. Furthermore, we will ensure a comfortable easy-to-use mechanism for our users.
