Week of Feb 24 – Mar 2
Worked on preparing for the design presentation on Monday. Had to put together the following diagrams to help explain the hardware aspects of our project.
Continued work on the model of the car. Resized the camera housing so to reduce the weight and height of the car. Also found an appropriate battery pack to power both the raspberry pi and motors for ~ 40 minutes.
Reworked the budget and bill of materials to better reflect the parts we want. Realized that we are pushing closer and closer to our limit every week.
Scheduling
I am currently behind on my tasks as a significant portion of time was dedicated to preparing for the presentation on Monday, as well as preparing for my midterms in both 18-447 and 18-349 this week. I hope to make up for it this week, and aim to finish the first version of the car (model and assembly) before leaving for spring break.
