Kelly’s Status Report for 3/16/24

Work Accomplished:

• Worked on the ethics assignment

• Worked on the UI of the app to match Figma mockups
  • Used tab bar for the Recipes Page
    • https://pub.dev/packages/buttons_tabbar 
      • This button style is what we want from the Figma mock up, but it is difficult to customize.
  • Added background color to an empty calendar list and made the calendar event box the correct size.
• I added parameters to each calendar event so that the information from the database can be shown there.
• Created an logo and used it for the app icon
• Was able to get the app working on my own iPhone.

Progress:

• My progress is a little behind now since I am not done with the UI elements of the app. I also did not start putting the LLM on the server, but I am waiting for the server to be set up by Michael and will work on it early next week. We will not 3D print the phone stand anymore because we are planning on scanning outside of the refrigerator now.
• I had a project due this week, which took me a couple hours each day for 6 days, so I did not have much time to work on capstone.

Things to complete next week:

• Finish UI of the app
• Research how to access the LLM in the Flutter app
• Set up LLM in server
