Kelly’s Status Report for 2/10/24

Work Accomplished:

• Project proposal slides.
  • I thought of and proposed all 9 different use case requirements + quantifications and justifications that were used in our final presentation.
  • I prepared for the presentation and presented on Wednesday.
• I started creating mock-ups for the UI of our app using Figma, which is a web interface design tool that I have never used before. Here is a screenshot of our inventory page:

• I started to look up different LLM’s that are out there to do research next week on which one would be most useful, yet easy to use for our recipe generation.
  • GPT-3 (OpenAI)
  • BERT (Google)
  • LLaMA (Meta AI)

Progress:

• My progress in on track with our gantt chart. (blue represents my tasks)

Things to complete next week:

• Finish up Figma app mock-ups
• Continue LLM research
• Research hardware with my team
