Team B7: Scotty Maps

Have you ever gotten lost trying to find a classroom in a building at CMU? Rhetorical questions aside, we wish to create an application and device to aid students in easily finding their classes. Our goal is for our device to use indoor localization to accurately provide the location of the student’s location from within a building. We wish to create a portable, lightweight device the student can easily carry around. Furthermore, we will create a responsive webapp user interface that displays instructions of the best path the student should take to their desired location. Ultimately, we would like Scotty Maps to be a tool for students to save time and learn how to navigate the buildings on campus.
