Apps like Water tracker Waterllama and Water Reminder – Daily Tracker have also gained popularity, getting over 200k reviews combined on the IOS app store. However there is no combination of both. Why not have a water bottle that tracks how much water you drink throughout the day?
Project Aqualotl will be a smart bottle, with sensors capable of detecting what liquid is in it, as well as tracking consumption and other important aspects (such as temperature). The bottle will be connected to a mobile app, which will keep track of a user’s drinking habits, send them reminders to drink water, and allow them to connect with other users of the app.
