This week brought its ups and downs for the team. We saw success in getting our system relatively fully integrated on the software end (and had some serious issues confirmed in doing so) and Rebecca is currently getting the finishing touches done with the hardware side. We hope to overcome our last hurdles leading up to the deadlines and get our processing successfully off loaded to an AWS server (as we found the Nano was able to handle the full CNN architecture without the process being killed). It’s certainly not an ideal position that we find ourselves in but we’re close, here’s to hoping that we are successful in this final push into next week.
Currently, we are also making our final efforts with the physical camera and setup as well as the button to control the camera. The physical hardware is the final touches and will advance the visual representation of our project.
