Jade Wang’s Status Report for 2/27/2021

This week, I researched the Arduino Pro Micro and HC-05 Bluetooth module compatibility. I looked into which pins should be connected to connect the two parts. I also created a Google Sheets to document our planned budget online.

Additionally, I met with Jenny and Bradley. We started adding to our budget outline and discussed the different options that we had for the parts. We also created a rough draft of a block diagram to illustrate all of the moving components and functionalities of our project.

Tomorrow, we will meet again to finalize our budget online and order the parts. Since the parts that we are ordering are fairly cheap, we will be ordering multiple of the same parts as backups in case parts break or they are not as compatible as we thought.

Early next week, we fill finish the block diagram and create the design review presentation and document.
