Carnegie Mellon ECE Capstone, Spring 2020
I can’t get enough accuracy using only spacial-based approaches, so I will try training an LSTM on the data we collected.
By next week we should have the project finished and the presentation done. Chris will integrate our classifiers together and Mark will work on outputting into Ableton.
This last week will be rushed, but we will be done with everything soon, so we will be done with the schedule.
I made a functional program that outputs the distance between the wrist keypoints for the demo. I also worked on the ethics assignment and am now trying to refine the accuracy for my algorithms.
By next week, I want to improve the accuracy of my algorithms and start integrating thing with Chris.
I am still behind schedule since my classifiers need a lot of improvement in accuracy and there is still integration to do.
Progress
This week I began the building of the glove for my project. I soldered the buttons to the wires and connected them to the Rpi and worked on the Bluetooth connection to my laptop.
Plan for demo next week
My plan for the demo is to have a working glove that plays different tones when each button is pressed, but not integrated with Ableton live yet.
Schedule
I am on track and got my plan for the demo approved by professor and TA.
