Accomplishments this week (Including spring break)
1.Setup Raspberry Pi
- Setup the Pi’s network with CMU Device and finally able to ssh into the Pi
- Test transferring file in and out from Pi with scp
- Enabled I2C and install adafruit-circuitpython-motorkit following the Adafruit stepper motor tutorial
2. Control stepper motor with Raspberry Pi
- Solder Stepper Motor Driver Head
- Run one servo with a slight tweak of the Raspberry Pi Tutorial sample code
- Run two stepper motors with a slight tweak of the Adafruit stepper motor sample code
- The next step is to delve into the built in function to figure out how to run a certain ticks
3. Solder Stepper Motor Driver
- Save the CAD file to DXF file
- Change material from acrylic to 3mm wood to add more friction
- Laser cut the parts at TechSpark
