Ismael’s Update week of 04/18/20

This week I focused on the motor manager file which turns the tracking data into motor commands and manages everything having to do with the motors. This is almost done. I need to finish a few things and do some testing. The one thing I am not totally certain about Read more…

Ismael’s Update Week of 04/11/20

I think the demo this week went fairly well. Bolaji made me realize that my current design for the PCB is fairly inefficient. It burns at least 26W of power unnecessarily. I’ll be exploring other options for something more efficient. The mechanical aspect of the project are coming along though. Read more…

Ismael’s Status Update for 02/29/20

This week I mostly focused on component selection. I’ve selected all of parts we will need and have an idea of what all of the hardware work is going to look like moving forward. I think the majority of the electronics work is going to be with the battery management Read more…

Ismael Mercier Update 02/22/20

This week I worked on a preliminary model for the project. This gave us an idea of what it would look like and how we would be making it. We will be using a combination of 3D printing and laser cutting to make all of the parts we cannot purchase. Read more…
