DESIGN DOC DUE EARLY THIS WEEK

The beginning of the week was focused on creating and proofing our design doc.

I focused on writing up the System Design section and Wearable Design. I also worked on the Bill of materials and our updates Block Diagram (As seen below). I also design a draft of the mount that could accommodate 3 LiDar sensors at precise angles relative to each other (depicted below). The plan is to design this in Inventor-Pro and 3D print the mount and attach it to the Harness through a standard camera mount bolt.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am leaving Wednesday for NCAA DIII Indoor Track Nationals, so I will be unable to continue, to work on the sensors this week.

Next week is spring break: Will try and do a bit work on setting up Lidar if the TTL converters come in on-time, otherwise will work on the mount.

Goals for the following week:

• Work towards first demo presentation
• 3D model of the mount and get someone to print it
• Lidar with TTL (if TTL arrives by then)
• Demo capable wearable
