Cindy Status Report 10/26/19

This week I worked on the demo aspect of the project. In addition to researching further into the motor and tabletop dyno, I started some initial drawings in CAD for our motor mount and output shafts. We’re going to make some parts out of aluminum to firmly hold the motor assembly in place as we start testing it with higher power. I also found a bike to purchase from Facebook for $40 that we are going to investigate and see how it can fit in with the rest of our potentially trike or electric bike. There might be some welding involved, especially if we want to have a custom enclosure to hold our battery pack and motor controller.

Back in firmware land, I worked with Deepak on getting the ADC timers triggering correctly, which turns out to be a really silly bug. It turns out that we were not setting the duty cycle of the PWM correctly the entire time, so it might have been possible to implement the ADC correctly the whole time.
