Example 1:

Input: uniform white noise

Output:  attenuation of ~30 dB with noticeable distortion

Example 2:

Input: speech babble noise, directional in east and south-east directions

Output: attenuation of ~6-8 dB, minimal noticeable distortion

Performance here suffers because the voice activity detector has poorer performance in babble noise.
