Topic: OpenGL and VRML: Application to internet virtual reality environments
In our seminar talk we shall discuss the use of OpenGL and VRML for modeling
of virtual
worlds. Specifically, we are interested in the compact object specfications
within a world and how this
representation is used within physically correct environments. We will
discuss applications such
as kinematic modelling, collision detection, etc.. offered by VRML.
We shall also discuss how VRML
works with OpenGL in offering a cross-platform, internet compatible
interface.
