Motion Vector Assignment:
- For each pixel in the interpolated frame assign a half of motion vector between current and previous frames or previous and current frames (both backward and forward ME are performed)
- If there are more than one m.v candidate, choose the one with the smallest MAD measure.
- For pixels that didn’t get any m.v. assign zero m.v.
Intensity Value Assignment:
- copy a value from the frame, from the frame that selected m.v. originated
