Touch is an interactive wireless finger designed to integrate home appliance systems. Through an 802.15.4 network, Touch is be able to perform simple finger gestures. Although Touch is focused on home appliances, the module is not limited to its placement. Touch is meant to be a standardized use of convenience for its users. The Touch module can be controlled through an iOS App and multiple nodes run through the same framework. In doing so, Touch gives users a controlled, scheduled and automated use of their appliance without the need of being remote.

    Touch does not require the user to be in range of the nodes. An internet enabled router handles all communication to and from nodes through an 802.15.4 network so the user can control the nodes no matter where they are.

    Touch is the most portable and adaptive to different types of switches. All our nodes are able to support most buttons and switches since we can integrate different kind of mechanical pistons.


  • Affordability

    Touch nodes cost only $18 each since we are not relying BLE and LiPo batteries. In future iterations, we will rely on off the shelf batteries the users will have to replace individually.
