Accomplishments

This week, along with meeting with my group for mandatory lab, we focused on the ethics behind Cyclify. I researched various fabrics we could purchase that would fit our needs (i.e. Polyester, neoprene, cotton, and spandex). I was unfortunately unable to attend Professor Skirpan’s ethics presentation on Wednesday, however I took his class 18384 last semester and found the ethics report/slides he posted to be a good review of what we had covered during class. It was interesting to apply the ethical knowledge I acquired to something I have been working so closely on.

Progress Status

I’ve made good progress with purchasing the materials we will need for device integration and helping Zoe and Carolyn with their respective sections.

Next Steps

Next week, I plan on 3D printing the first iteration of the device housing and testing various ways to connect it to the bicycle.
