Team Weekly Update | 3/22

Accomplishments

This week, we attended the ethics lecture and continued to address key considerations, risks, and stakeholders related to our project. We also engaged in red teaming and we were able to provide additional risks and considerations for other groups as well.

On the app development side, the app’s onboarding and connectivity features progressed. A calibration flow collecting user weight, height, and device pairing has been implemented and improved upon. The models associated with this data have also been utilized and currently data is stored using @AppStorage but we will transition to SQLite for larger ride data.

Significant Risks:

The most significant risk right now is our delayed system integration which could impact our interim demo. We’re managing this by spending time the past few weeks ensuring subsystem usability and have scheduled dedicated integration time next week. A contingency plan includes using mock data for the demo if integration lags.

Design Changes:

No major design changes have occurred this week.

Updated Schedule:

We are slightly behind on integration but plan to catch up next week by focusing on ESP32-Pi connectivity, ESP32-mobile app connectivity, and displaying data in the app live.
