Introduction and Project Summary

Our Project CueTips is an assistive pool-playing technology for beginners and experts alike. A projector is mounted above a pool table which provides real-time predicted trajectories as the player aims their cue stick. Think the 8-ball pool iOS game, but in real life!

This entails building a frame for the projector, using computer vision to identify objects, algorithms to predict trajectories, and more. Our key differentiator is that our project will provide real-time, instantaneous feedback.
