Introduction and Project Summary

Our project turns traditional sheet music into an interactive learning tool that helps beginners read and play music with confidence. By taking a photo of printed sheet music, the system recognizes the notes on the page and guides users through the song using LED light cues on a piano while tracking what they play in real time. The system verifies each note as it is pressed, giving immediate feedback on whether it is correct, helping learners stay on track, build accuracy, and better connect written music to physical playing in a fun and engaging way.
