Every time a user accessed the forecast route, the model had to be deserialized from disk which introduced delays Will move the model loading logic to the top-level script (the FastAPI startup event or global cache)<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring all the wiring and hardware components have enough physical space in the demo house to be properly integrated and mounted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Changes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">ML workflow is being restructured:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"\">\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Preload models at startup<\/strong> using global caching to ensure they are loaded once and reused.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Introduce a prediction cache<\/strong>, where forecast results are computed periodically (e.g., every 30 minutes) and stored in memory or a lightweight JSON\/SQLite file.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Progress<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Device actuation and control complete<\/li>\n<li>Device scheduling complete<\/li>\n<li>Testing and Verification of Optimization subsystem complete<\/li>\n<li>Routing for backend :\u00a0Separated all core functionalities into clean routes (<code>\/<\/code>, <code>\/optimize<\/code>, <code>\/analysis<\/code>, <code>\/history<\/code>, etc.) with a responsive dashboard UI.<\/li>\n<li>Working on integrating the python backend with typescript front-end.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Risks Model Deployment Latency: ML model loading during user requests (e.g., price forecasting) caused site latency and crashes.\u00a0 The models were being loaded inside the FastAPI route handlers\u00a0at runtime during each user request.
