Accomplishments

In between this week and the last status report, we presented to various faculty members during the interim demo. Zoe, Carolyn, and I put several hours before Carnival in order to get the prototype functioning in time and I believe in its current iteration it has met MVP. This week was spent further polishing the design and I iterated upon the hardware housing/physical integration onto the bicycle. This involved increasing the size of the box, making it sloped to sit flush against the bike stem, and creating print in place hinges to avoid having to use zip ties again. Additionally, the angles on the bicycle were measured to determine where the camera will be placed once that is fully integrated with the software and hardware.

Progress Status

I’m currently on progress and am ready to begin further calibration/integration testing.

Next Steps

Next week I’m implementing the hardware changes Zoe has implemented and act as the first round of integration testing for the device. Additionally, I plan on recruiting various people I know to act as outside testing.
