Angela’s Status Report 2/22

This week I finished implementing the player mechanics that weren’t finished last week as well as adding some sprites to the game. Gameplay features are now all implemented, except for enemies and enemy behavior, which I will be working on next week as well as working with John on Arduino-Unity interactions. Progress has slowed down a bit because of midterms, but everything is still on track

Programming Progress

Really not too much to say this week. I’ve just been cleaning up some unfinished features from previous weeks, namely:

  • fixed the bug mentioned in Angela’s Progress Report 2/15 about switching modules on keyboard controls.
  • added net gun firing and reloading
  • added battery charging, ui, and animations
  • added sprites for submarine

Next week I’ll get started on making enemies for the game. I will also be working on writing up some more detailed documentation on the current state of the game so that the connection between Arduino and Unity can go as smoothly as possible. That will probably be a post on the website which I will write up asap.
