Work Done<\/strong><\/p>\n

This week I spent a lot of time preparing the Final Presentation slides. I modified the slides to be more traffic light themed and also reorganized the structure of our slides to be more cohesive and based on subsystems to reduce redundancy.<\/p>\n

The following is the before and after of reorganizing the first couple of slides as well as changing the theme.<\/p>\n

Additionally, I had to present for this presentation, so I spent a lot of time rehearsing, especially since I initially was at about 14.5 minutes running through it my first couple times. I eventually got it down to 12.5 then about 11.5 minutes to be under the 12 minute time limit.<\/p>\n

I also spent some time researching the 3D simulation for our demo, however it seems like the built-in 3D simulation with SUMO is not compatible with TraCI, so I can’t programmatically control it.<\/p>\n

Below is the error I was given trying to add the command line option to use the 3D modeling feature:<\/p>\n

I think I might not have a required software installed so I will keep playing around with this once I finish my more pressing tasks in the next few days. I also have seen people use Unity to do 3D visualization for SUMO, so I can also play around with this since I have experience with Unity.<\/p>\n

I am on track to finish everything on time. I am mostly putting finishing touches on everything as well as improving our testing infrastructure.<\/p>\n
