On Monday, I <b>presented the design review slideshow <\/b>in class.<\/p>\n<p>I have <b>mostly fulfilled last week\u2019s deliverable<\/b><strong> to order all parts<\/strong>. Because the PCB design is not completely designed at this time, the PCB was not ordered. However, the boost converter (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pololu.com\/product\/2564\">https:\/\/www.pololu.com\/product\/2564<\/a>) and battery (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.digikey.com\/en\/products\/detail\/adafruit-industries-llc\/2011\/6612469\">https:\/\/www.digikey.com\/en\/products\/detail\/adafruit-industries-llc\/2011\/6612469<\/a>), the remaining electronic components, were ordered. In addition, all of the following physical components were ordered: plastic wrap (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B09PJQNMCM\">https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B09PJQNMCM<\/a>), 10 feet of plastic tubing (the smallest available length) of 1\u201d inner diameter with a thickness of 0.25\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcmaster.com\/products\/tubing\/tubing~\/soft-plastic-tubing-for-air-and-water\/\">https:\/\/www.mcmaster.com\/products\/tubing\/tubing~\/soft-plastic-tubing-for-air-and-water\/<\/a>), polyester cord (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B07TZW1DBW\/\">https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B07TZW1DBW\/<\/a>), and plastic cord locks (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.specialistid.com\/products\/black-adjustable-neck-cord-lock-2135-4001\">https:\/\/www.specialistid.com\/products\/black-adjustable-neck-cord-lock-2135-4001<\/a>). I have also <b>updated our purchase tracking spreadsheet<\/b> to reflect our latest purchase requests. Also, since the microcontroller and LED orders have arrived, it is now possible to begin electronic prototyping.<\/p>\n<p>For the next status report, I want to <b>have a finished PCB design<\/b> and <b>place the order for multiple rigid PCB prototypes<\/b>. Furthermore, I want to start electronic prototyping with available materials; I plan to <b>use the Beetle to display a test message<\/b> in order to familiarize myself with how it works.
