During this week, my main focus was on tuning the vision system for initial testing inside the Hammerschlag 1300 hallways. Over the course of a multiple meetings, bug fixes to the imaging program were made. The system was able to properly record video footage from its camera, and store the recordings locally to be retrieved later. The setup and results obtained from our testing can be seen in the team report.
Other tasks I worked on this week included meeting with my team to discuss our views on the ethics assignment, and setting up Wifi streaming for our camera. Working at home, I was able to access a live video feed from the Raspberry Pi camera on my laptop through a TCP connection.
My portion of the project remains on schedule. My upcoming objective is to test the Wifi streaming of our camera system on the CMU internet network, for our next phase of testing in Hammerschlag.
