What<\/span>\u00a0are<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0most<\/span>\u00a0significant<\/span>\u00a0risks<\/span>\u00a0that<\/span>\u00a0could<\/span>\u00a0jeopardize<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0success<\/span>\u00a0of<\/span>\u00a0the\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>project?<\/span>\u00a0How<\/span>\u00a0are<\/span>\u00a0these<\/span>\u00a0risks<\/span>\u00a0being<\/span>\u00a0managed?<\/span>\u00a0What<\/span>\u00a0co<\/span>ntingency<\/span>\u00a0plans<\/span>\u00a0are<\/span>\u00a0ready?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The most significant risk currently is still the integration of our entire project. Our entire CV portion is written in Python, while our interface is done in C++. We know that there are packages that are available that can use the code we wrote from Python and integrate it into our interface. However, we aren’t sure of the speed of using these packages as they are going to be slower than if we ran the CV using C++. We will be testing out this in the next week to see if the difference in speed is crucial for our project. The backup plan is to translate the existing code from Python into C++.<\/p>\n

Were<\/span>\u00a0any<\/span>\u00a0changes<\/span>\u00a0made<\/span>\u00a0to<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0existing<\/span>\u00a0design<\/span>\u00a0of<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0system<\/span>\u00a0(requirements,\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>block<\/span>\u00a0diagram,<\/span>\u00a0system<\/span>\u00a0spec,<\/span>\u00a0etc<\/span>)?<\/span>\u00a0Why<\/span>\u00a0was<\/span>\u00a0this<\/span>\u00a0change<\/span>\u00a0necessary,<\/span>\u00a0what<\/span>\u00a0costs\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>does<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0change<\/span>\u00a0incur,<\/span>\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0how<\/span>\u00a0will<\/span>\u00a0these<\/span>\u00a0costs<\/span>\u00a0be<\/span>\u00a0mitigated<\/span>\u00a0going<\/span>\u00a0forward?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
