This week I worked on the nearest neighbors code primarily and got the optimized vector-based implementation working. This involved restructuring how neighbors are found in the fluid simulation code, and changing the neighbor update code, and is a large step towards getting our final algorithm working correctly.
Next week I would like to work on heavily optimizing the code and getting the build on the actual fabric to work correctly. This week I was slightly behind due to extracurricular activities going on, but I am not worried and think that I will be able to put in a lot of work in the coming weeks to finish up our project.
