{"id":133,"date":"2022-03-19T22:58:50","date_gmt":"2022-03-20T03:58:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/course.ece.cmu.edu\/~ece500\/projects\/s22-teamb0\/?p=133"},"modified":"2022-03-19T22:58:50","modified_gmt":"2022-03-20T03:58:50","slug":"luckys-status-report-for-march-19-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/course.ece.cmu.edu\/~ece500\/projects\/s22-teamb0\/2022\/03\/19\/luckys-status-report-for-march-19-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Lucky&#8217;s Status Report for March 19, 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This week I did the following tasks:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I finished producing a functional SIFT matching script that detected matches and produced results between some test images<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I ported all of the object detection code I\u2019ve been working on to a version control system to prep for collaboration and integration<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I began a new python file\/script to run continuously on a system in order to prepare something that can function in production<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I cleaned up the code, and modularized sections for readability and testing of subcomponents<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This included modularizing the SIFt detection portion so we can more easily swap out the detection algorithm for other algorithms for benchmarking the best algorithm for our use case<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I organized global variables for making the tweaking of threshold \/ customizable portions of the code easily accessible for benchmarking and optimization<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In terms of schedule, it felt like I finally began catching up on the slack I had built up on weeks prior.
