Looking forward, integration and area consumed are still significant risks to consider. With the full single-player implementation we have 31.3K logic elements used. This is not significantly greater than where we were last week, so presumably the single-player implementation will fit onto the DE0-CV. This raises an interesting point that we probably should be able to fit our full design onto the smaller DE0 board, with significant optimizations. However, we’d be able to do more with the DE10 board. Something to continue thinking about. I can definitely envision cutting our LE usage by another 20-30% by sequencing some logic that is currently being done in parallel.
Progress is going more or less as expected. Spring break will help with shifting us back to being exactly on schedule since we left it off as slack. With a couple minor exception we’re on track. Single-player sprint mode is functional, if somewhat un-aesthetic but that’s where we wanted to be before spring break so here we are.
