Claire and I both finished the chassis and Z-axis parts and I integrated the parts. Below is our completed robotics system:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-170\" src=\"http:\/\/course.ece.cmu.edu\/~ece500\/projects\/s20-teamb7\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/89\/2020\/04\/fullboi.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1062\" height=\"518\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I started looking at the possible analysis we can do for some trade studies. The first design decision is the choice of material for our vertical support rods. I first applied the appropriate materials to all the components on the gantry and used Fusion 360 to calculate the mass, I compared the differences between acrylic, wood, and aluminium.<\/p>\n<p>I have also started working on the final design documentation to prepare for the milestones we have next week.
