{"id":116,"date":"2019-03-30T00:43:22","date_gmt":"2019-03-30T00:43:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/course.ece.cmu.edu\/~ece500\/projects\/s19-teamb4\/?p=116"},"modified":"2019-04-01T17:23:36","modified_gmt":"2019-04-01T17:23:36","slug":"status-report-3-30","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/course.ece.cmu.edu\/~ece500\/projects\/s19-teamb4\/2019\/03\/30\/status-report-3-30\/","title":{"rendered":"Status Report (3\/30)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Group Update<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>This week, we&#8217;re preparing for the midpoint demo.<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;re slightly behind on integration, so we will be demoing the motor controllers and the ICP portions separately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Amukta&#8217;s Update<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Worked with Kanupriyaa on the ICP code.<\/li>\n<li>Next week, I will visualize and prepare the code for demo, and write the mapping code.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Kanupriyaa&#8217;s Update<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Finished writing the ICP code and integrated it with Amukta&#8217;s code.<\/li>\n<li>Next week will be building and integrating with the mapping node and the UI.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Tiffany&#8217;s Update<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Finished testing motor control and migrated into a ROS package.<\/li>\n<li>Added subscriber to motor control for demonstrating motor control next Wednesday in class.<\/li>\n<li>Set up ssh and git on raspberry pi (this took several hours as I kept running into configuration issues, since we weren&#8217;t using the default Raspbian image).<\/li>\n<li>Discussed with team on how to implement global planning and data transmitted between SLAM and path planning. Figured out algorithm for global planner in detail, will start implementing this weekend.
