Give files or photos that demonstrate your progress. Prove to the reader that you put sufficient effort into the project over the course of the week (12+ hours).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>This week I was able to find five full &#8216;lub&#8217; &#8216;dub&#8217; beats. It did not work on all of our training algorithm at first, because it seems to not correctly determine all the S1 and S2 because the findpeak algorithm on matlab is not accurate enough<\/li>\n<li>To fix this I found the average diastole distance and checked that the frequency of the first s1 peak is smaller than the first s2 peak to correctly determine five full &#8216;lub&#8217; &#8216;dubs&#8217;<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-54\" style=\"font-size: 1rem\" src=\"http:\/\/course.ece.cmu.edu\/~ece500\/projects\/s19-teama4\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2019\/03\/Segmented_Filtered_Murmur-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/course.ece.cmu.edu\/~ece500\/projects\/s19-teama4\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2019\/03\/Segmented_Filtered_Murmur-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/course.ece.cmu.edu\/~ece500\/projects\/s19-teama4\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2019\/03\/Segmented_Filtered_Murmur.jpg 560w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/li>\n<li>One problem I found this week was that some of the signal we disregarded as \u2018noise\u2019 using my algorithm could be useful in helping to classifying a murmur, since many heart sounds with murmurs seem to have low amplitude signals directly following an S1 or S2 beat.<\/li>\n<li>Feature extraction for SVM: I have researched and decided to use the following features for my SVM:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Time Domain<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><span class=\"s1\">\u2022 mean diastole period (time between S2 and the next S1)<br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u2022 Mean of the ratio of duration of systole to the\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">RR interval &#8211; I don&#8217;t know what RR interval is yet, but I will research this next week.<br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u2022 Maximum mean value\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">between S1 and S2<br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u2022 Mean of the <\/span><span class=\"s1\">S2 amplitude peaks.<br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u2022 Mean of the S1 amplitude peaks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Frequency-domain<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u2022 Average ratio of the power of each\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">diastolic segment in the\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">100-300Hz\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: 1rem\">frequency band\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: 1rem\">to the power<\/span><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: 1rem\">\u00a0in the 200-400Hz\u00a0frequency band.<br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u2022 Mean power of each\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">diastolic segment in the\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">150-350Hz\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">frequency band<br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u2022 Mean power of each\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">diastolic segment in the\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">200-400Hz\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">frequency band<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Is your progress on schedule or behind? If you are behind, what actions will be taken to catch up to the project schedule?<br \/>\nMy progress is on schedule this week.<\/li>\n<li>What deliverables do you hope to complete in the next week?\n<ul>\n<li>Since I am on spring break right now I don&#8217;t think I will get much done this week.
