Risks

The heat set inserts may not come in on time. To mitigate this, we will use the larger inserts and bolts from IDeATe or adhesives.

Another risk is that the LTE antenna that we ordered for the LTE board does not arrive on time. A mitigation is to steal the LoRaWAN’s antenna. We could also make our own with wire.

Changes

No changes to our project this week.

Schedule

We are pushing back testing tasks to next week because we do not yet have a MVP.

Validation

We have tested the dam actuation over 10,000 cycles, and it was successful without significant damage to the moving components or the servo.

Next, we plan to test weather resistance of the visor, durability, and mounting durability on the bike. We also need to test the battery life and perform user testing of our system on a POGOH bicycle. If our tests are able to pass the tests we specified in the design report with the desired outputs, then we can be sure our system meets our engineering design requirements and use case requirements.
